The USMNT and England have been linked with a move for Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino who is currently free after leaving the Chelsea job earlier in the summer. Per the terms of exit from the Blues, Pochettino can freely join a national team without compensation within six months of leaving the West London side. While the FA are open to appointing a non-English manager as their new head coach, their preference reportedly lies with British coaches, according to The Telegraph. The 52-year-old manager could also be enticed to move to the US considering the next World Cup in 2026 will be hosted in North America.
